Dear Family and Friends,                                                                                                                                                  December 2011

Greetings from Goodyear, Arizona!  I hope this letter finds you doing well and enjoying this Christmas season.  I wanted to send out a family update and highlights of our year.

Scott and I have been keeping busy with work, school and managing our family.  We also celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in August of this year.  It’s really hard to believe how fast these 20 years have gone.  It seemed like it was only yesterday until we watched our wedding video and saw a bunch of kids.  =) Scott’s working hard managing the water company and his employees.  Justin has been working with him a couple days a week, which is fun for him.  I’m still home schooling my children (with one graduating this year YAY!) and teaching ballet 2 days a week.  I also taught two ballet dances for our annual Christmas Program for our home school group and I’m making all the skirts and hairpieces for my shows.  That’s a challenge since I do all my sewing by hand, I’m usually in a big hurry waiting until the last minute and I’m not very good at sewing to begin with (although I enjoy it).  But they always look great for the show without falling apart until afterwards.  =)

Justin turned 18 years old and he’s a senior in High School.  He’s almost finished with school and will start online college in January.  He’s finishing up Psychology, Algebra, Spanish and literature.  It sounds like a lot but he’s close to being completely finished with high school.  He will officially graduate June 1st and go through the ceremony with Arizona Families of Home Educators (AFHE.)  He’s been driving a lot and we got a second vehicle so that he can take the car without leaving us carless.  He’s enjoying working with Scott and helping him out a couple days a week.  He applied to about 30 different places several times without any luck finding a job, so he’s thankful he has a part time job for now to pay for college and car insurance.

Jessica celebrated her 16th birthday this year with a Surprise Party!!  =) She was very surprised (and so were her siblings!)  She came home to find our house full of family and friends (and Justin Bieber!!)  She’s a junior in High School and she’s working hard to finish High School and college as soon as she can, so she can pursue her career in Country Music.  She has written over 100 songs and sings and plays the guitar.  She is also learning how to play the piano (self taught like she did with the guitar!!)  My sister and brother-in-law made a CD and video for her of 12 of her songs.  Scott’s cousin also made a 3D video of her singing one of her original songs that she wrote.  You can view it on youtube by typing in Jessica Keith and selecting her video titled “Jessica Keith In His Chevy Truck (Original song) Copyright 2011.”  You may have to make adjustments to the settings on the lower right of the video to select 3D or not 3D or HD etc.  She also had a meeting with a record label and performed 17 songs at the Arizona State Fair.  She’s also keeping busy with teaching guitar and teaching Lyrical Jazz to her students.  Her dance students will be performing at my recital January 8, 2012.

Alyssa is 11 years old and in 6th grade.  She LOVES to read and reads several chapter books a week.  She is really excelling in school and she’s taking all of our dance classes.  She’s dancing in the Christmas Program and also reading an essay she wrote on “The Poinsettia”.  She is really good with babysitting Jayce and helping out around the house.  She wants to be a professional dancer and she wants to be one of Jessica’s back up dancers when she goes on tour.  =)

Jayden is 8 years old and in 3rd grade.   He loves video games, video games, oh, and video games.  =) He does a good job in school and works hard on his lessons.  He knows he has to or else he can’t play you-know-what.  =) Jayden also likes playing Lego’s, cars and playing with Jayce.  He’s been taking PE and music lessons with other homeschoolers and loves playing with his friends at the home school park days.

Jayce is 20 months old and he’s as busy and active as ever.  He’s very smart, passionate and independent, just like the other Keith kids.  He keeps us ALL busy!!  He’s talking quite a bit and he loves to sing and dance.  No joke!!!  He loves playing with his older siblings and also likes to help me around the house.  When I’m folding clothes, he takes the clothes and towels and puts them where they go automatically without anyone saying anything.  He’ll also clean up the toys and the room all by himself.  Pretty soon he’ll be helping with the dishes and doing the grocery shopping.  =)

You are very special to us and we love you and appreciate you!  We hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and a blessed and happy new year!  May mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance!  Jude 1:2

Love Always In Christ,

Scott, Jaimee, Justin, Jessica, Alyssa, Jayden and Jayce Keith
