My daughter, Jessica, is going on a mission trip to Thailand for 5 months. Please read all about her journey in the letter below!  :D

Dear Family and Friends,                                             June 20, 2014                                                                      

As some of you know, I was in Nashville, Tennessee performing and recording from August 2013 to February 2014.  After returning to Phoenix, Arizona, I began praying for God to open another door for me and lead me in a direction with my life that He wanted me to go.  I have been feeling like God wants me to grow closer to Him, and that He wants me to remember that He is more important than my music (God knows how important music is to me.)  It’s amazing and ironic that during this time of prayer and searching some missionary friends with Cadence (http://www.cadencediscipleship.com)  invited me to attend an intensive Christian discipleship course in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  This program trains future leaders for God’s service.  Even when I started doing music at a young age, I felt that God would use my music to help others.  The Lord has opened up this exciting opportunity for me to go on a 5-month mission trip to Thailand this summer in August.  This trip is part discipleship training and part outreach and it will equip me to share the gospel and serve others.  I’ll also be doing outreach in Thailand and Cambodia and will be helping with VBS, working at orphanages, helping women escape human trafficking by finding vocations and more.  This unique opportunity will help me grow closer to the Lord, it will challenge me, strengthen my walk with God and will give me an opportunity to use my gifts to serve God in another culture. 

I'm excited about this opportunity and experience that lies ahead.  As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people.  It’s necessary for me to raise $6,000 by August 10^th. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful.  Most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow me to be successful as I follow God's leading in ministry in these countries. Without prayer, nothing will happen.  Thank you so much!
