Jessica's concert at the fair

My 16-year old daughter, Jessica, is performing at 

the Arizona State Fair Saturday, October 15th at noon.

North Box Office Plaza Stage

North of the Coliseum.

She will be performing both covers and 

original songs that she has written.

About Jessica: She is a singer/songwriter and has

written over 100 songs.  She plays the guitar

and sings and writes beautifully!

She wants to be a country music recording artist (country singer)

and just recently met with a record label for the first time.

"Listening to Crickets" a book about Rachel Carson.  Written by Jayden (8).

Rachel Carson earned $10 writing a story when she was ten years old.  She wanted to be a writer but changed her mind to be a biologist.  Rachel wrote about Biology.

Rachel Carson got $10 for writing an article that got published when she was ten.  She went to college and wanted to be a writer then changed her mind and wanted to be a biologist.  When she got older she wrote books about Biology.  She lived by the ocean.

I thought I'd have my children write about a book they read for my blog.   There is more to come!!  =)
